Can I access the Spa if I am not staying at the hotel?
Yes. You can make reservations for access to the Aquasens Pass as well as treatments in cabins

What is the Aquasens Pass?
The Aquasens Pass is an access on reservation giving access: The Aquasens Pass is reserved by slot of 2 hours

in the Fun Hydrotherapy Pool composed of hydromassage jets for a relaxing and relaxing effect.

and in the Multisensory area with sauna, hammam, waterfall shower, ice fountain, experience shower, and cold water pool for a beneficial hot/cold alternation.

Am I required to run the 2 hours consecutively?
Yes, if you book 2 hours of access to the Aquasens Pass, they will be consecutive. Access to the spa is limited to 18 people.

Is there a charge for access to the spa if I stay at the hotel? Should I book?
Yes, access to the Spa is chargeable for people staying at the hotel. It is necessary to book before your arrival at the Château in order to guarantee availability.

Can I access the spa before checking in and after checking out of the hotel?
Yes, you can access the Spa before check in and after check out. We provide you with secure changing rooms with a customizable 4-digit code. The changing rooms are equipped with a walk-in shower with soap, shampoo, body milk and hair dryer.

Am I required to perform treatments during my Aquasens Pass?
No, we advise you to do the treatments in the cabins outside of your Aquasens Pass hours to take full advantage of it. However, it is also possible to perform the care during your access if you wish.

Am I required to pay a supplement if I perform treatments in the DUO Cabin?
No, all the services offered in our treatment menu can be performed in a duo cabin subject to availability, on simple request and at no extra charge.

Can I bring food and drinks into the Aquasens space?
No, for hygiene reasons we do not allow any food or drinks (other than those offered by the establishment). You can enjoy our restaurant between 11.45 a.m. and 2 p.m., by reservation, do not hesitate to ask the spa.

If I am pregnant, can I access all the Spa facilities and perform all the treatments?
No, pregnant, you can only take advantage of part of the Aquasens Pass. The sauna, the hammam, the experience shower (with essential oils) as well as the Carp Tail and Swan Neck jets (being too intense) are strongly discouraged.
Regarding the treatments, the Pregnant Woman Massage and the 1 hour Facial Treatments are specially designed for you. We also offer body wraps and balneotherapy with products without essential oils. We do not recommend the treatments grouped together in the “Our V.I.P Massages” section of our treatment menu. We invite you to seek advice when making your appointment.

Can I change the spa services included in my stay?
Yes, it is possible to change the Spa services of your stay with or without supplement according to your request. We advise you to call the spa for more details.

Do you offer special conditions to Works Councils?

What do I need to bring for an Aquasens Pass?
You must bring your bathing suit. Wearing a swimsuit is compulsory. Towels, slippers and bathrobes are provided by the Spa. There is no particular restriction concerning the shape of the swimsuit: one or two pieces for women and shorty or swimming trunks for men. Swimming caps are not required.

Can I benefit from care knowing that I am undergoing treatment or that I have a health problem?
We invite you to ask your doctor or specialist for advice. If the latter does not give you a contraindication, you can book a treatment or access to the Aquasens Pass by informing the practitioner of your state of health.

What are the contraindications for receiving a massage?

If you have any of the health conditions mentioned below, we strongly recommend that you seek the advice of your doctor. non-exhaustive list: Feverish state / inflammation / open wound / back acne, infectious and contagious diseases, cancer being treated. Recent surgery, any heart condition being treated (pacemaker, arteritis, anticoagulant treatment), venous disorders, neurological diseases, lack of autonomy.

If I have a skin condition such as psoriasis or eczema, can I still get a massage?
It is possible to receive a massage if you have one of these skin diseases because they are not contagious. In addition, we use care oils with very nourishing properties.

Do I have to be completely undressed to receive a massage?
No, we do not practice care on a completely naked person. For your comfort and to avoid staining your underwear with care products, we provide you with disposable care underwear. You can, however, if you wish, wear your own underwear or swimsuit.

Hotel & restaurant

   At what time can I arrive at the hotel?
     Our rooms are ready, in principle, from 4 p.m. You can arrive earlier if you wish, but we do not guarantee the room. You can stroll in our French-style garden, take advantage of our heated outdoor swimming pool (from April to October), relax in our Salon Lounge Bar, adjacent to the reception.
    
     What if I have Spa services before my room is ready?
     We welcome non-residential customers at the Spa, and as a result, we have men's and women's changing rooms. If your room is not ready, we therefore invite you to leave your luggage in the car or at the reception, and come and change at the Spa in order to carry out the reserved services, pass or cabin treatments. You will deposit your personal belongings in electronic code lockers, inside there are already bathrobes and slippers. Towels, as well as all the necessary products such as shower gel, shampoo… will be provided to you on site.
    
     Is the outdoor pool heated?
     We heat the outdoor pool from April to October. The outdoor swimming pool is reserved exclusively for hotel guests.

     Do we have to book the tennis court?
     The tennis court is free to access, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. You can come and borrow balls and racquets at the reception, leaving an identity document as guarantee.
    
     Is the Spa free to access?
     Booking a room does not automatically give access to the Spa. You must contact our treatment centre, a practitioner will show you the treatment menu and proceed with the reservation of the chosen services.
     If a pass or treatments are included in your stay, it is also essential to contact our Spa before your arrival in order to choose the schedules with the practitioner, in accordance with your scheduled arrival/departure time. Otherwise, the Spa will be obliged to plan “default” schedules.
    
     Do we have to book the restaurant?
     If your stay includes dinner, it is not necessary to make a reservation. Your table is automatically reserved. We will ask you to choose a time for dinner upon your arrival.
     If you have booked a room only, or if dinner is not included in your stay, it is essential to make a restaurant reservation. Otherwise, we cannot guarantee you a table. If you wish, the Reception will give you a brochure on your arrival which lists around twenty restaurants in the region.
    
     Do you have a garage?
     No, we have two large uncovered car parks. One outside the gates of the Château and the other inside the estate near the Spa. Depending on the type of room reserved, the car park where you must park is indicated in the confirmation of your reservation. The gates of the Château are closed every evening, after the arrival of the last customers.
    
     Are there rooms in the Château?
     No, there are no rooms in the Chateau.
     We have a 17th century outbuilding, located on the left when you enter the courtyard of the Château. This Wing houses the Comfort Rooms, with a more classic decoration, in the style of the Château.
     We also have the Dependance du Parc, which houses the Duplex Suites, with contemporary decoration.
     In this same building, you will find the Spa as well as the breakfast room. The Château, the main building, houses the reception, the lounge bar and the restaurant on the ground floor. And upstairs, meeting rooms, the billiard room.

Can we come and visit?

Can we get married on a weekday or out of season?

Yes, the Château de Pizay is open 7 days a week all year round except for 2 weeks between Christmas and New Year. Except Saturdays and high season, you can benefit from reduced rates.

How far in advance should I book?

To obtain a maximum of available dates, we invite you to book your wedding as soon as possible, on average +1 year in advance.

Do you organize several weddings on the same day?

No, on D-Day you will be the only married people in the estate.

Can we privatize the establishment for our wedding?

Yes, it is necessary to do it + 1 year in advance and it is necessary to count minimum 48 000 € ttc to privatize the establishment

Are the dinner and the dance party in the same room?

Yes, the Cuvage room is a 350 m² room equipped for a maximum of 200 people seated and a dance floor.

Can we organize a cocktail and dinner in the French garden?

No, the French garden is a place for walking only.

Is the furniture included in the rental price?

Yes, we provide teak tables and chairs with gray/beige seat cushion

Are toppings and dishes included?

Yes, they are included in the catering package.

Do you have a cloakroom?

Yes, with 200 hangers, no staff dedicated to organizing it (hostess, tickets, etc.).

Do you have a room for children?

Yes, in an outbuilding on the ground floor. Compulsory supervision of children by babysitters at your expense


Can I come with my caterer?

No, you must choose either Serge Magner or Jean Paul Pignol.

Are providers taxed?

The caterer is taxed but not the other service providers. We can support you by providing you with a list of service providers (florists, photographers, DJs, etc.)


Do you have a sound limiter for the dance party?

No.

Do you have sound and light equipment?

No, to do with your music provider.

Do you offer a decoration service for the room and the tables?

No, we can advise you on the services of interior designers, wedding planners...

What is the maximum late evening time?

Is it possible to organize a brunch the next day?

Yes, with the Magner le Moment M or Jean Paul Pignol caterer and for an additional rental day.

Do you have parking?

Yes, 150 pitches. Guarding the outdoor car park from 9:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. is included in the price.

Can we accommodate our family?

Yes, we can book rooms with a discounted rate. The bride and groom's room is offered.


Do you have accommodation nearby?

Yes we have a list of hotels, bed and breakfasts and gites a few kilometers around the castle.

  1. L’accès à votre établissement est-il facile ?
    Oui, le château de Pizay est très facile d’accès car nous sommes situés à côté des grands axes routiers, ferroviaires et aériens :
    -    L’aéroport Lyon Saint Exupéry est à 60 mn car vous n’avez que de l’autoroute pour arriver jusqu’au château
    -    Il en est de même pour la gare de Lyon Perrache qui est à 35 mn 
    -    La gare de Mâcon Loché TGV quant à elle est à 20 mn, cela donne un accès en 2h00 de temps de Paris au château !
     
  2. Avez-vous un service de navettes ?
    Nous travaillons avec des compagnies de taxis et des autocaristes pour organiser des transferts de l’aéroport et des gares. Confiez-nous les horaires d’arrivées et de départs. Nous nous organisons pour vous, les navettes avec accueil personnalisé sur chacun des lieux.
     
  3. Avez-vous une bonne connexion internet ?
    Nous avons une connexion internet en très haut débit fibre optique et wifi, avec 20 mégas garantis + 1 ligne sécurisée de secours de 2 mégas garantis.  300 appareils peuvent être connectés simultanément sur tout le Domaine en intérieur comme en extérieur.
     
  4. Les salles de réunion ont toutes la lumière du jour ?
    Les 5 salles de réunion situées au 1er étage du château ont toutes de grandes fenêtres avec vue sur la cour d’honneur du château ou le vignoble ou le parc.
    La 6ème salle de réunion qui est l’ancien Cuvage a été dotée de fenêtres côté Sud.
     
  5. Les salles de réunion sont-elles climatisées ?   
    Oui, dernièrement nous avons refait tout le système de chauffage au château et en avons profité pour intégrer la climatisation dans les salles de réunion mais aussi dans les salles de restaurant.  La 6ème salle de réunion est également équipée avec un chauffage performant pour sa surface de 350 m² et la climatisation.
     
  6. A partir de quelle heure les chambres sont disponibles ?
    Les chambres sont disponibles à partir de 17h00 et libérables avant  10h00 le jour du départ. Une bagagerie est à disposition.
     
  7. Le Spa est-il en accès libre ? 
    Pour la tranquillité du lieu et des personnes individuelles qui s’y détendent, l’accès au Spa se fait uniquement sur réservation, au moins 10 jours avant l’arrivée du groupe, selon les disponibilités (maximum 18 personnes) et dans les horaires d’ouverture : 10h00 à 19h00.Vous avez aussi la possibilité de privatiser l’espace Pass Aquasens (bassin hydromassant et espace multisensoriel) avec un maximum de 30 personnes par heure. Les séminaires bénéficient d’un tarif préférentiel selon le nombre de personnes réservées.

  9. Peut-on faire livrer des colis pour la réunion ?
    Oui, en informant le service commercial par email : dircom@chateau-pizay.cm 
    Il faut indiquer sur le mail : le nombre de colis livrés, le volume, la nature des colis, la date de livraison.  
    Sur chaque colis expédiés : le nom de la société, le nom du destinataire et la date de la manifestation doivent être mentionnés.
    Nous stockons les colis dans une pièce fermée à clé. Vous récupérez ces colis à votre arrivée.
